Fishing Lures

Fishing lures are a primary tool in catching fish. The lure was initially made from feathers, but with the progression of civilization has gone to using plastics and even silicone. Fishing lures come in many sizes, shapes and colors which allow you to choose the right one depending on what kind of fish you’re trying to catch.

Fishing lures can be divided into 4 categories: soft fishing lures for freshwater fish, soft fishing lures for saltwater fish, hard bait fishing lures for freshwater fish and hard bait fishing lures for saltwater fish.

Fishing lures come in a wide variety of styles: jigs, spoons, spinners, plugs and so on. They are also available in different colors to help the angler identify where they have been caught: bright colors attract attention while dark colors provide camouflage so fish will not detect them while swimming through the water away from the lure’s point of origin.
